Four PMS-Laden Vessels Lead Line Of 31 Ships Berthing At Lagos Ports

While Lagos ports continue to grapple with the congestion  orchestrated by the near paralysis in cargo evacuation, more vessels continue to arrive with general and bulk and general goods.

Up to 30 ships are berthing at the ports with MV Genco Languedo, Victoria T and Desert Calm all laden with bulk wheat are among ships expected to discharge assorted goods at the Lagos Port Complex, Apapa Port, as from Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

Others available are Wigeon which is carrying bulk soya and Lagoon Phoenix which has fresh fish onboard.  While Charisma L is conveying steel, each of Xing Helai, BBC Naples, Leyi and Jumbo Kenetic arrived with general cargo.  Osaka and C.C. Jasper are conveying containers.  Four other ships carry PMS while Sea Pearl has AGO onboard.

Other vessels expected include Top Fair, Maritime Shickan, Sakura Express, Bellatrix, among others. Cargoes being conveyed include base oil, bulk sugar, bulk wheat, PMS, gypsum, etc. Others are fresh fish, containers, etc.

Also among the  vessels awaiting to berth are Team Tango expected at the ENL Terminal with 13,199.53mts of bulk fertilizer; Ocean Eagle carrying 6,100mts of bulk wheat and Northern Promotion, Seaspan Lingue and C.C. Lapis, all carrying containers.

Seven motor tankers awaiting berth are carrying assorted cargoes including PMS and CPO.
