Ship Laden With Food Items, Petroleum Products

 

A total of 30 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive the two seaports of Apapa and Tin-Can Island in Lagos State from December 13 to 30.

According to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA’s) `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to journalists on Wednesday in Lagos, the ships would berth within the period.

NPA said that the ships are laden with bulk wheat, bulk sugar, steel products, empty containers, crude palmolein, bulk gas, bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel, diesel, petrol and containers laden with general goods.

Reports suggested  that eight ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, bulk maize, diesel, aviation fuel and petrol.
