President Muhammadu Buhari has approved new appointments in 13 Federal Government agencies. This was contained in a statement issued by the Director (press) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Bolaji Adebiyi.
Those appointed include Joseph Ari as Director General of Industrial Training Fund (ITF); Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA); and Engineer Simbi Kesiye Wabote, appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Monitoring Board.
Others are Aboloma Osita Anthony, new Director General of the Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON); Mamman Amadu, the Director General of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP); Barrister Sharon Ikeazor, the Executive Secretary of Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD); an d Princess Akodundo Gloria, the National Coordinator/CEO of the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
Also appointed are Alhaji Ahmed Bobboi, the new Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF); Umana Okon Umana, Managing Director of Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority; and Sa’adiya Faruq, made the Federal Commissioner for the National Commission for Refugees, Migrant and Internally Displaced Persons.
Included also are Engineer Usman Abubakar, the new Chairman of Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC); Dr. Bello Aliyu Gusau, the Executive Secretary of Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF); and Yewande Sadiku, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).
